Across is an independent suite of tools based in Massachusetts, United States. “Across,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of:

Using Across

Use Across lawfully, respect other people’s rights, and follow the instructions and limits shown for a feature.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement where you live. If you agree on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to do so. That authority does not automatically allow you to access someone’s personal information or publish on their behalf.

By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. Where an account, purchase, or feature requires an additional agreement, we will present it separately.

Nothing here overrides rights that applicable law gives you and does not allow you to waive.

Features and availability

Some Across products are available now; others are in development. Roadmaps, previews, and examples are not promises of delivery by a particular date.

We may improve, change, or retire features. We will try to provide reasonable notice of significant changes or discontinuation when practical. Security, legal, or technical problems may require faster action.

If you purchase a service in the future, its purchase terms will explain your paid access and what happens if that service changes or ends. Changes to free features do not give us unrestricted permission to disregard a paid commitment.

Information can be imperfect

Across tools may rely on third-party information, including weather, exchange rates, public webpages, and other changing data.

Information may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. Check time zones, conversions, screenshots, and alerts when accuracy matters. A missing alert does not prove that nothing changed, and a screenshot records only what was captured at that moment.

These tools provide general assistance. They are not a substitute for professional advice or independent verification in decisions involving safety, money, legal obligations, or other significant consequences.

Browser settings and future accounts

Orbit currently saves settings in your browser. Clearing browser data, changing devices, or using private browsing can remove or separate those settings. Export anything you want to keep using the available controls.

Across account sign-in and syncing are still being developed.

When accounts become available, you will need to keep credentials secure, provide accurate account information, and use only accounts or integrations you are authorized to access. Account-specific terms will be presented before registration.

Your content and permissions

You keep whatever ownership rights you have in content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed for us to handle it and for any sharing you request.

You give us limited permission to process, store, reproduce, format, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide the requested service. This includes using providers to perform those tasks. It does not give us ownership of your content or a general right to use private content in advertising.

Permission to handle content ends when it is no longer needed for those purposes, subject to reasonable backup processes, legal retention, and copies already shared as you directed. Our Privacy Policy governs the handling of personal information.

Publicly accessible information is not necessarily free of copyright, privacy, or other restrictions. Viewing, monitoring, capturing, or linking to a webpage does not transfer rights in its content.

Publishing and Delegates

These provisions apply when the relevant publishing features become available.

You are responsible for reviewing and authorizing content before publication, including when an authorized Delegate reviews it for you. Creating a Recommendation or generating text is not permission to publish.

Act for another person or brand only within the authority they have granted. An organization membership or administrator role does not, by itself, grant that authority.

You can revoke a Delegate’s authority through the available controls. Revocation cannot necessarily recall a request already transmitted or remove content already published.

Across remains responsible for its own obligations; your responsibility to review content does not excuse an error in our service.

Public pages, links, and connected services

Publicly published content may be copied, indexed, or retained by others. Removing it from Across may not remove those copies.

External websites and connected platforms have their own terms, permissions, and technical limits. We cannot guarantee that they will accept a post, maintain access, or support editing or deletion.

Shortened links lead to external destinations. An Across link is not an endorsement or guarantee of the destination’s safety, content, or continued availability. We may disable links associated with abuse, legal concerns, or security risks.

AI-assisted features

If a feature offers AI assistance, output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose. Review it before relying on it or sharing it.

AI-generated material does not establish that a statement is true or that you have permission to use someone else’s work. Output may also resemble material generated for other users.

We will explain relevant data handling before introducing AI features. Authorization to retrieve information through an external AI tool will not automatically authorize publishing or other actions.

Respectful and safe use

Do not:

  • Access accounts, systems, or information without permission.
  • Bypass access controls, usage limits, or security protections.
  • Overload the services or interfere with other people’s use.
  • Distribute malware, phishing links, spam, or fraudulent content.
  • Impersonate someone or publish on their behalf without authorization.
  • Violate privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.
  • Use monitoring or sharing features to harass or stalk people.
  • Submit deliberately false reports or impersonate a rights holder.

Automation must use supported interfaces or have our permission and must respect applicable limits. Nothing here restricts activity that applicable law expressly protects.

Reporting problems and rights concerns

Report harmful content, suspicious links, privacy concerns, accessibility barriers, or possible infringement to [email protected].

Include the relevant URL, a description of the issue, and enough information for us to understand your connection to it. For a rights complaint, identify the work or right involved and whether you are the rights holder or their representative.

We may request clarification, review relevant records, restrict content while investigating, and take action appropriate to the issue. A report does not automatically establish a violation. Statutory notices and legal requests remain subject to applicable law.

For security issues, report privately and avoid accessing, changing, or exposing other people’s information. Reporting a vulnerability does not authorize additional testing.

We do not promise payment for unsolicited research or reports. Any voluntary reward or paid research arrangement must be agreed in writing. This does not limit legitimate complaints, statutory remedies, or compensation required by law.

Free and paid services

Current free features do not require payment. We may introduce paid offerings alongside free features.

Before charging you, we will show the price and applicable billing terms, including renewal, cancellation, and refund information. Visiting a site or using a free tool does not enroll you in a paid subscription.

Future paid terms will preserve mandatory consumer rights. Do not purchase based on an assumption that an unreleased feature will become available.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains information handling and your choices. It is not blanket consent to unspecified future uses of your information.

Restrictions and suspension

We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these terms.

Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and provide a way to ask us to review a mistake. We may act immediately when notice would increase the risk.

Making a legitimate complaint, reporting a problem, or exercising a legal right is not, by itself, misuse.

Service limitations and responsibility

We take reasonable care in operating Across, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, perfect accuracy, or that every error will be corrected.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, free services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional warranties. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from their use.

These limitations do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or anything else that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. They do not remove mandatory warranties, remedies, or consumer rights.

Questions, disputes, and changes

If something goes wrong, contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve it. Doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right or contacting a regulator or court.

Massachusetts law governs these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law, while preserving mandatory protections that apply where you live. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive access to courts or collective remedies available under applicable law.

We may update these terms as the Suite develops. We will show the updated date and provide additional notice of material changes where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively, and we will ask for express agreement when required.

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
